Walk-ins with no reservation will be asked to wait until those with reservations are seated.\n \nAbstract:\n The realm of GHG regulations at a federal\, state\, and regional level has undergone rapid change and development in recent months.  Such changes are likely to have direct and indirect impact upon the way organizations conduct business.  It is therefore important that organizations understand the financial\, operational\, and political implications of potential regulations for reporting GHG emissions and setting reduction goals.  With this understanding\, organizations will be able to develop a response to new regulations  while minimizing overall costs and maximizing opportunities.  This presentation will provide an overview of current GHG reporting programs and inventory tools along with the key considerations to make when managing GHG data.\n \nSpeaker Information:\n Ms. Travis is an environmental engineer with experience in air quality and greenhouse gas inventories\, modeling\, reporting\, policy and strategy. She has a working knowledge of federal and state agency guidelines and regulations\, with specific emphasis on the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)\, California Air Resources Board (CARB)\, Western Climate Initiative (WCI)\, and Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  Ms. Travis has worked with a variety of clients at CDM\, with a focus on airports\, ports\, power generators and local government operations.  In addition\, Ms. Travis is responsible for tracking developments in greenhouse gas policy and CEQA rule-making for CDM clients\, and attends and analyzes meetings and workshops given by CARB\, WCI\, EPA\, The Climate Registry\, and the California Energy Commission.\n  \n Ms. McElmurry is a project manager within CDM’s Management Consulting Services group and has experience in environmental management systems development and implementation\, business process re-engineering\, operations\, financial analysis\, and strategy development.  She has created project\, sustainability\, financial\, and strategic plans for aerospace\, defense\, education\, information technology\, real estate\, and telecommunications clients.  Ms. McElmurry has managed projects to identify\, assess\, and mitigate risks through financial analysis\, performance metrics development\, and operational analysis.
