SDEP'S FIRST ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

We are establishing a new event this year. Traditionally, our June meeting has been dedicated to showing the work of two local students who were the winners of SDEP’s scholarship award. This year, we will be expanding the meeting to focus better on the needs of our members. The June 12, 2007 Award Luncheon Meeting will:

Honor the excellent work of SDEP members with new member only Awards.
Honor the exceptional research being performed at local institutions with a new research Award.
Provide a forum for better communication and cooperation between local academia/research and the environmental professional community.
Raise funds for the SDEP student and research cash awards.
Provide opportunities for SDEP members to meet and see resumes of graduating students from local universities.
